Treasure Island and Siesta Keys

We just had our last 2 beach days here in Tampa spent at Treasure Island and Siesta Keys. It was so much fun to see Jarem and Sofie play in the waves while breastfeeding Lucy with my toes in the water. Life is good.

Taco Bus

The Taco Bus is one of our favorite little places to get the yummiest authentic tacos. And yes the delectable tacos are prepared in a bus which is attached to a small restaurant. Taco Bus we will miss you dearly! Wanna come to Dallas with us?

More OBX

Every 2 years we go to Outer Banks, NC for a Dickson family reunion at the beach. It was a blast as usual.

A Lady and Her Legacy

When my Gram was a young wife and mother living in Arlington, VA she opened the door to the sister missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and PopPop attended this church for a couple years before they were baptized. A short time later in 1964 when my father was 10, they loaded 5 young children in the station wagon and drove across the country to be sealed as a family for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake temple. Upon arrival they discovered that it was closed for cleaning so they went to the Logan temple.
She had 2 more children for a total of 7 who have each been sealed in the temple to their spouses. Gram also has 9, soon to be 10, grandchildren who have been sealed to their spouses in the temple. Her 3 sons, 7 grand sons, and 5 grand daughters have or are currently serving full-time missions.

I owe everything to my Grammy. Her decision to join the true church of Jesus Christ has forever changed my life and so many others. I think she is perfect and I hope I can live my life in a way that shows how grateful I am for her and PopPop. I love you Grammy. You are wonderful.
