Happy October!

Calm Amidst The Chaos

I was making dinner when I realized I couldn't hear Kingsley cooing anymore, so I asked Sofie to check on him. She came back to tell me he was asleep. I had to see it for myself! How could anyone fall asleep amidst this chaos? The girls had been playing in the same room with him (he likes to watch them) and had thrown the couch cushions (which were coverless because said covers were in the wash) practically on top of him! He didn't seem to mind. This Hallows family idea just might work after all.

Dance Class

For the past couple weeks Sofie has been participating in a dance class with other 2 1/2 to 3 year olds. They do ballet, modern and tumbling which lasts for 45 min once a week. A former BYU dancer teaches the class and there are about 7 other little girls attending. Sofie looks forward to dance class each week and comes home to show us what she's learned including "step-hop" (skipping), plies and back bends. They'll have a recital in May. I can't wait!

Getting pulled around in a laundry basket is a favorite past time at our house.

Visitors and King's Blessing Day

GopGop Bret came to visit late Wednesday night and the girls were thrilled to see him when they woke up.

Ashely's Wedding

I got to go to Ashley's wedding last month in Virginia. It was perfect. I got to see family and see a beautiful couple sealed for time and eternity. Tim is fantastic, I ADORE Ashley and I love weddings so it was so much fun to be there. Dad holding King while I got dressed. This was the first time they met.

First Smile?

Kingsley: 7 weeks

At his 2 month check up he was still in the 90th percentile for height and weight. Lucy had her 18 month check up at the same time and she was in the 98th percentile for height and the 80th for weight. I really don't blame anyone for thinking they are twins because Lucy is catching up to Sofie in height!

We drove. We fed dolphins. We saw shows, and we did it with the Brownlows. Sofie feeding the dolphins a fish.
