We're Texans!
We have arrived in Texas and are loving it! Jarem's work is about 2 miles from our apartment so the girls and I get to drop him off every morning. The girls are sharing a bedroom and are so good about napping and playing together on the same schedule. We have a lake right outside our complex with a walking trail which we take advantage of almost everyday. We love this 80 degree weather! We miss our family terribly but it makes the times we do get to see them even more precious.
Sofie teaching Lucy how to crawl. She's getting so close...she got up on her hands and knees today!
Sisters=Best Friends
Classic Luz
Sofie put on these "glassies" and took this pic of herself.
On our walk Sofie took a break to look at the water.
Lucy's not quite used to the grass yet.

Ari and Danny Bond
Other notable events: Lucy sprouted her first 2 teeth. (Gopgop Hallows brought them to our attention) Sofie and Lucy were angels on the airplane both ways mainly due to Sofie's recent infatuation with coloring and Lucy's apparent love of formula bottles.

I miss...
my sisters.I miss Maria because I haven't seen her in a year and a half while she was in Brazil on her mission. (I get to see her in 2 days!!!)
I miss Eliza because she left last month on her mission.
I miss Sally because she's in Provo at BYU.
I'll see you guys on Saturday and maybe we should sneak a peek of Lizey? Want to?

Seven days --- No babies
So I don't know if the secret is out, but I never got back on the boat when we cruised through Jamaica last week. It is amazing what a few days in this country can do to a guy.
Okay, so not really...but just for the record, if we did live in Jamaica and if I could actually grow hair I would definitely have some sweet dreadlocks.
Camilla and I took a vacation last week and here are a few pictures. The big news of the week was that Mark (Camilla's Dad) flew into Dallas and stayed with Sofie and Lucy for the entire week. Camilla's Mom Melody came to help as well from Tuesday to Saturday. Thank you so much to the Dicksons for watching the babies. Gopgop and Lita were sorely missed when they had to leave. I don't think either of the girls missed Camilla or me at all. It is great to have such fantastic Grandparents for our kids.
These were a few nice spots in Jamaica.
We got to hold some good-sized stingrays in Grand Cayman
Darth Vader and I went ATV-ing in Cozumel.
This was our lovely stateroom.
We (along with our three new amigos) won the Carnival Cruise Volleyball Tournament --- I have not taken off the gold medal yet and it's been over a week.
Elegant night.

BIG TYME
This is a tribute to a couple of BIG TYMERS that I know. Sometimes we do things in our lives that let the whole world know that WE'VE MADE IT! It is nice to achieve something spectacular --- and that is just what these two people have done. They are now considered BIG TYME (as long as they follow through with it) around our house so let's all give it up for
SOFIE and her new BLUE UNDIES

Sofie has sworn off the huggies (during the daytime) and she is a better woman for it. You won't miss em Sof - we are behind you all the way on this one girlfriend!
and lest she be outdone, how about some props for my girl
LUCY and her new DIET

Now that is a happy looking goose. Nothing quite like that first belly full of rice cereal.
Nice job nenas...you are both BIG TYME.
