Two weekends ago on an unseasonably chilly afternoon we bundled up the girls and went to the Texas state fair with our good friends Camille and Alex. We ate fried butter, fried pizza, funnel cake and a corn dog, saw lots of animals, some of us napped, won a stuffed animal playing darts, and grew in pride for the state that we now call home.
Sofie was in HEAVEN at the bubble house. She particularly enjoyed rubbing the bubbles on Jarem's face.
Lucy slept as Sofie devoured a larger than life corn dog...I guess the saying's true...everything IS bigger in Texas!

Fried butter?! Wow! I love Lucy's darling cowgirl hat - so cute! I hope "ya'll" are enjoying Texas and living it up. Florida misses you!
