This is our/my first legitimate attempt at potty training Sofie Mae. A friend of mine is doing it this week too, so I am drawing from her bravery to get me through this. :) It hasn't been as awful as I expected. I got a bunch of prizes and treats for her and let her pick out undies. She chose little mermaid of course and I have been putting her on the thrown every 30 minutes. She gets a small prize for every attempt and a more coveted prize for each success. So far she has been extremely motivated by the prizes and she only had 2 small accidents, while I was distracted on the phone. She stayed dry during her nap and loves to announce that she has kept her unmentionables dry to anyone who will listen. Let's hope that day two goes just as well. Wish us luck!
