Sitting in an airport lounge 5,000 miles away from home on a Sunday morning is somewhat of a sobering event. Instead of attending early morning church meetings, wrestling girls into skirts and jellies, and frantically jamming snacks into zip lock baggies on the way out the door for 8:30 a.m. church, I am sitting in an airport only wishing I was participating in the chaos that is "Sunday morning at the Hallows".
Now for full disclosure, I really don't do much on a typical Sunday morning besides loading kids into car seats --- Camilla is the real work horse. But this morning I am really missing our typical readings of Dr. Seuss classics and our ritual feast of cheeze its, cheerios and cheese sticks during Sacrament Meeting.
While no replacement for a morning of church with my family, I did come across this fantastic article this morning in the July Ensign and I wanted to share it. I know that a lot of Camilla's friends that read this blog have husbands who travel quite a bit for work so if you haven't read this article yet, it is a must read!
