Jarem turned 26 yesterday! The last couple years I haven't done much to celebrate his birthday so I wanted to redeem myself this year. On Friday we ate at one of our fvorite places, Grand Lux Cafe. Next I surprised him with a night away from the kids at the Westin. I never get to surprise Jarem with gifts because he loves checking our account and most of the time he knows where I've been that day based on the account activity. I felt really sneaky making the reservation with cash and keeping the whole thing a secret for several weeks. Thank you Brownlow's for watching our kids and sacrificing a night of sleep!

On Monday morning (his actual birthday) he slept in and had breakfast in bed. I e-mailed his boss to make sure it was cool if he came in late. Jorge and Jarem have become besties so he of course said yes and then team took him out for a long lunch.

Jarem magically scored Mavs tickets at work. We got to go to a play off game on his birthday! and they WON! It will be difficult to top this birthday next year, but I'll try. :)
