His Birthday

On Sunday Jarem turned 25! We celebrated on Friday by surprising him at the office with cupcakes and balloons, well attempting to, he was out to lunch. On Saturday night we did a little shopping and went to Studio Movie Grill where we saw Date Night and ate chicken nachos. (If you know Jarem it is apparent why this was his venue of choice.) I really wanted to take pictures inside the theater/grill but of course I left the camera in the car so this was the only picture we ended up with. On his actual birthday, Jarem, true to self, went about his normal Sunday routine. He watched the girls so that I could attend a meeting, made cookies with Sofie, delivered said cookies to a new mother in the ward, went home teaching, and cleaned the house/wrestled kids to bed while I prepared his birthday dinner. After they were fast asleep we enjoyed a peaceful dinner of Cafe Rio pork salads and molten lava cake.

Isn't he so cute! I'm obsessed.
Although Jarem had a great birthday weekend, he would tell you that the best part about turning 25 is the money he saves on car insurrance and not having to pay a premium to rent a car.

I can't believe that was Jarem's birthday! What a great guy to make us (the best ever) chocolate chip cookies on his 25th birthday.

So Cute -- we made the chicken version of the Cafe Rio Salad this week, too! complete with cucumber/avacado dressing. Love my Soapie in her chef's outfit! Thanks for blogging, Camilla! - Mom
