What would you think if you saw...

...two newlyweds walking around a store with two baby girls and number three one the way?

Lets just review what happened yesterday afternoon before you answer that question...

Camilla and I are pushing our cart toward the parking lot after a successul Costco run. Important to note, Camilla is six months pregnant and has this cute little bump for a tummy. She's looking gorgeous today (like usual) and its sunny and a slight breeze is blowing through her hair and...you get the picture. Quite serene.

Along comes this guy who walks right up to me and says, "Excuse me sir." In my mind I am thinking, "Oh boy, he's going to ask me for a couple of bucks and I am going to look like a jerk because I don't have any money on me."

To my surprise the guy says, "I KNOW YOUR WIFE LOOKS REALLY GOOD PREGNANT AND ALL...BUT YOU CAN'T ALWAYS KEEP HER THAT WAY. YOU GOTTA GIVE THE GIRL A BREAK!"

After which he literally puts his arm around my neck (mini-headlock style), giggles like a school boy, and then walks away.

We were so surprised by the exchange that neither of us knew how to respond until we got back to the car, at which point we both busted up laughing.

It was HILARIOUS. And a little creepy.

So maybe our young family resembles a traveling circus show with soon-to-be three kids under three years old. I'm sure people look at us in the checkout line (especially when Camilla is alone with the kids) and think "Cute family...but they must be CRAZY!"

I just hope that none of them ever think that we would have it any other way. Being a father, and being parents together with someone like Camilla, is the most gratifying experience I have ever had. Who wouldn't want more kids when the first two come out like these girls:

You guys are singing my song right now. I go to the store with my 5 kids and get some real great comments or stares...espeically because we live in a major snowbird area. When people ask me what i was thinking i just say "my husband is a hottie, what can I say?"
your girls are beautiful

Hey! I don't know if you remember me...we where in your ward in Provo for awhile. I am in your exact same position right now - 2 kids and one on the way, the oldest not yet 3. I can't believe the looks I get and the things people say. It just makes me smile and laugh!

Your girls are adorable!

I babysit a 3 month old every day. I am starting to get sick of people commenting on how I "sure have [my] hands full" and they can't believe I would watch this baby when I already have 2 of my own. Why does anyone care??? Some people need to worry a little more about themselves than everyone around them. :) Funny story...

I am cracking up! And if anyone can do it you can. Everyone with kids knows its rough at times but so so worth it.

I love you guys! I am so excited that you have #3 on the way! Nothing is better than having kids. I would have 10 if they all looked like Sophie and Lucy--they are SO adorable. And they couldn't ask for better parents! Love you guys.

Ha ha ha ha, made me laugh so hard. Reminds me of the time I was at Costco, and only had 3 of our 4, some guy told me they were all really cute, the baby especially, then proceeded to ask if they were ALL mine! :) Your girls are adorable!
